Charmed, I’m Sure
Today is the official on-sale date for what is likely to be the last book I write for the Charmed series. (Although, technically it’s been available on Amazon for a couple weeks now. Publication dates tend to be rather fluid.) Leo Rising focuses on the male members of the Halliwell family as they try to locate the missing Charmed Ones. It also marks the first time in the book series that Leo, Wyatt, and Chris have shared a cover.
Between the Charmed series and Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, I’ve written or contributed to a dozen books about witches (not counting the Buffy books, in which a witch was a prominent character). I don’t know. Maybe it’s time I took a break from the subject of witches…
Or maybe it’s time to come up with an original series about witches that’s my own creation.
Hmmm. I’ll have to think about that.
In the meantime, I have other fun news of a more personal nature…
I am now responsible for another life.
I have bought a fish.
The buying of a pet is a rather momentous event for me. As I am allergic to anything with fur or feathers—and have no love for icky creatures that slither or crawl—a fish was a natural choice. I call him Pan. He’s a Betta fish. Also known as a Siamese Fighting Fish. Because if you’re going to invest in a pet, it should be one that can protect the house.
I would love to include a picture of Pan in this blog, but I’m not so technologically inclined. So, let me describe him…
He’s Red.
And … he’s a fish.
Oh, and he’s got these really great beautiful fantail fins and … well … tail. Actually, he kind of looks like a Vegas showgirl. Only smaller. Much, much, smaller.
I think there’s a story in that: Betta fish by day / Vegas Showgirl by Night. Sort of like The Little Mermaid … except not.
