I’m not usually one for speaking in catchphrases—especially those uttered by TV chefs—but BAM! seemed like an appropriate headline for this particular announcement. (Personally, I would have preferred to go with “Save the Cheerleader, Save the World” but that would be rather off topic.)

I am honored to announce that the Books-a-Million bookstore chain has chosen The Four Dorothys as their July Teen Book Club selection! This puts me in the company of some really great authors like Scott Westerfeld and Maureen Johnson (who I am apparently linked to through three degrees of separation because our mothers know each other—although she and I have never met).
